Itinerary
From the moment you board your Kenya Airways flight you will feel the warm African hospitality that the continent is known for.
On arrival in Nairobi, you will be met by a Lion World Travel Representative and transferred to the Panafric Hotel. You will be assisted with checking in at your hotel and given a brief for the safari ahead.

Today you depart on your light aircraft flight to the Maasai Mara.
Please Note: Luggage restrictions on the Kenya light aircraft transfer flights is 15kg/33lbs in soft bags – including hand luggage. This applies to touring vehicles in some cases too.
Sarova Mara Camp offers spacious canvas luxurious “tents” with large “windows”, wooden flooring, and a permanent roof. All have en-suite bathrooms with showers and are equipped with a fully stocked mini bar. Large wooden decks offer a place to relax and enjoy the view.
Arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Return to camp in time for a swim, hot shower, campfire cocktails and dinner.

After an early breakfast, bid farewell to the Mara plains as you drive to Lake Nakuru which is the most famous of the Great Rift Valley lakes and home to a shifting population of over one million flamingos. Arrive in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.
Spend the afternoon on safari in Kenya's first and largest rhino sanctuary where sightings of both black and white rhino are almost guaranteed and where you have a higher-than-average chance of spotting a leopard. Other wildlife includes lions, hippos, the rare Rothschild's giraffe, Colobus monkey, numerous plains game and birds.

After lunch drive through the scenic Athi Plains and into the Amboseli National Park, home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen and famous for huge herds of Elephant. Nearly every view within the park is framed by the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.

Amboseli is a place of stark contrast. Despite its sometimes dry and dusty appearance, it has an endless supply of water filtered through thousands of feet of volcanic rock from Mt. Kilimanjaro’s snow melt.

The main attraction of Amboseli is its vast herds of elephants within the park. The bull elephants here have some of the largest tusks in Kenya.

Depart Amboseli as you transfer to the border town of Namanga for customs and immigration. Once through immigration, your driver-guide from Leopard Tours who will be with you for the rest of your journey. Transfer to Arusha Town arriving in time for lunch at a local restaurant.
Later, drive to Lake Manyara, a shallow alkaline lake that shimmers in a cleft in the Great Rift Valley. Lake Manyara National Park is small but uniquely diverse national park. It is home to the world-famous tree-climbing lions and thousands of flamingos.

The area features rolling plains, lakes, craters, mountains, and dormant volcanoes. Often described as one of the great natural wonders of the world, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area became an UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.
Ngorongoro Rim Lodge is located on the Eastern Crater Rim of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Rooms face the Ngorongoro Crater along with the restaurant, bar, and viewing deck. This lodge is Eco-friendly and uses solar power.

After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park. Your drive includes a game drive en-route to Maramboi Tented Lodge. Herds of up to 300 elephants scratch the dry riverbed for underground streams, while migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland crowd the shrinking lagoons. It's the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem - a smorgasbord for predators.
Arrive at Maramboi Tented Lodge arriving in time for lunch. The lodge is located close to Lake Manyara, with exceptional views of the Great Rift Valley.
